Professional Experience

  • Trained in all areas of urology with a specialist interest in prostate diagnostics, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and stone disease, having performed over 5,000 surgical procedures to date. 
  • Trainer on Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) at Guy’s Hospital, London having performed over 250 HoLEP cases, including patients with massive prostate size (>400g). 
  • Offers patients minimally invasive treatments for BPH including Rezum® intraprostatic steam treatment and Urolift® prostatic lift. Set up a highly successful BPH Specialist Clinic for patients requiring novel BPH treatments. 
  • Interest in prostate diagnostics having performed over 400 MRI-guided transperineal targeted prostate biopsies. 
  • Performs rigid and flexible ureterorenoscopy for management of stone disease and upper tract urothelial cancer, having performed over 1,000 stone procedures to date. 
  • Trained in minimally invasive focal therapy (HIFU and cryotherapy) for treatment of localised prostate cancer at Imperial College Hospital and at University College Hospital. 
  • Interest in general and emergency urology, regularly performing procedures such as flexible cystoscopy, transurethral bladder tumour resection, transurethral prostatectomy, circumcision, orchidectomy, etc.

  • Qualified from King’s College London School of Medicine in 2009, having completed a surgical placement at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. Completed his surgical and urological specialist training in reputable hospitals in London and South-East of England. 
  • Appointed Consultant Urologist & Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Hospitals in 2020 and subsequently invited to join London Bridge Hospital and the Royal-affiliated King Edward VII Hospital in London’s Harley Street medical area, where he still maintains his practice.
